Welcome

'Kione Turrys' is ideally situated right in the heart of Peel on the west coast of the Island. Peel is a traditional Manx fishing town, the home of the famous Manx ‘Kipper'. The ancient castle on St. Patrick's Isle (shown above) adjoins Peel Hill by a causeway and Fenella Beach. For those feeling energetic, a coastal footpath goes right round the Isle of Man and can be joined on Peel Hill. This is a must for walkers, bird watchers or anyone who appreciates wonderful views of the sea and countryside. Alternatively, view Peel from the hill and just take your time to savour the peace and tranquility of a small, friendly, fishing port. The superb, safe, sandy beach, harbour and castle make Peel an ideal, central place to stay for visiting the whole of the Island.

Contents

On 3rd July 2008 'Kione Turrys' was upgraded to 4 star accommodation. In the last 6 months we have carried out a big refurbishment and transformed the cottage into a modern, convenient, cosy place to stay. We have installed gas central heating throughout, brand new fridge/freezer, washing machine and dryer, halogen cooker hob, dishwasher, carpets and vinyl throughout, new leather suite, TV with FreeSat (Satellite), new lounge and dining furniture, back bedroom furniture, new oak effect composite front door and windows to front of cottage, new internal doors, wood stained skirting and architrave throughout, everywhere newly painted, and with new curtains and accessories. (Hope I haven't forgotten anything!)

Lounge / Dining Area

This is quite a spacious room with a new leather suite and cushions. The dining area has been moved into the lounge with access through a new central sliding door to the kitchen, which makes it much more interactive and convenient. There is a new larger TV with FreeSat (free satellite with over 50 channels and 25 radio stations available).

A DVD player is installed (some DVD's are available in the cottage to use, or you can bring your own, or hire them locally for a small charge). New lounge furniture and wood effect vinyl flooring. The new canvas pictures, mirror, lamp and accessories compliment this room.

Kitchen

A lovely, bright, fully equipped kitchen. There is a new tall fridge/freezer, washing machine and dryer, dishwasher and halogen hob and cooker, also a microwave. The new vinyl flooring matches the living room flooring. All crockery, cutlery, towels and cleaning materials are included.

Main Bedroom

A spacious, very attractive room with pine furniture, double bed, large fitted wardrobe, dressing table, mirror, stool, chest of drawers, clock radio, bedside tables with lamps and accessories. Well appointed with high quality co-ordinated linen.

Second Bedroom

A small room with adult size bunk beds, with new wardrobe and chest of drawers, bedside shelves and lights, new carpet, curtains and accessories.

Bathroom

An attractive bathroom with cream suite, and two-tone green and cream marble effect tiles. There is a shower over the bath with an instant electric shower and new shower curtain and rubber mat. A large chrome towel warmer, mirror, shaver point and light, extractor fan, vinyl flooring and accessories.
